Rant

People impose rules...they oblige other people to comply
with their rules...no excuses....it's just gonna be how things
must be...But what if the same people who set the rules
are the first ones to break them?...what will happen if
the "other people" pointed it out? I'll tell you what will happen...
first, they'll try to defend themselves....making all sorts of
arguments starting from the very relevant to the hello-
where-did-you-get-that-kind of argument...then, once you
have given them a piece of your mind...you'll see them nod in
agreement...you will feel relieved coz the way you see it
they already got your point....HOWEVER! ....the roller-coaster
ride of relevant, irrelevant (and at some point silly..) discussions
and arguments kicks-off again....and the draining cycle of
the gruelling conversation begins to bring out that little monster
in you....and in your mind you start to scream....you get tired of
explaining, of listening to the endless defense...of wasting your precious
energy on pointing out that which needs to be pointed out....
Finally....slowly, it comes to a halt...but just when you think
it's over, they hit you with a last blow....suddenly, everything's
upside-down...you are guilty and they are darn innocent.
You fight back.....and before they can even have you go through
the roller-coaster ride again.....you put a period in the so-called
conversation....then it's over...really over....with you not knowing
if they really got the geist of what has just transpired.....
